Blackjack strategy to beat the game During the play of blackjack, cards are removed while the remaining cards are dealt from the depleted deck. Studies conducted using complex computer programs have concluded that the removal of certain cards from the deck gains an advantage for the player while others provide an advantage for the dealer. The adept blackjack player learns to analyze a depleted deck to determine when the player has an advantage and will capitalize on those opportunities. |

By betting more when the player has an advantage over the dealer and less when at a disadvantage, the smart blackjack player will actually be able to gain an edge over the casino. Of course, proper basic strategy MUST be followed to realize this advantage.
Computer studies have shown that when the depleted deck has more 10's and Aces the player has an advantage. When more cards valued between 2 and 6 are remaining the dealer has an advantage. Cards with a value of 7, 8 and 9 are considered neutral.

Blackjack Strategy Step One
The player must begin play at a table offering the most favorable playing conditions. Consult our
favorable
blackjack conditions and
unfavorable
blackjack conditions charts to determine which tables to play.
Blackjack Strategy Step Two
The player must strictly adhere to proper basic strategy rules.
Consult our detailed
basic strategy charts for all types of table conditions. Memorize the appropriate charts. If needed,
print them out and take them to the table with you.
Blackjack Strategy Step Three
If steps one and two are followed properly, the player will now
have an even game with the house. Neither side should have more than a .5 percent advantage. Begin play after the shuffle with a base level bet
at preferably a single deck table. (If you're a $5 player, you will begin with a $5 bet).
Blackjack Strategy Step Four
If after the first round of cards have been played there are more
10's and Aces remaining, increase your bet to a maximum of four times your base level bet. If there are more small cards remaining, make
another base level bet.
Blackjack Strategy Step Five
On subsequent rounds, adjust your bet according to the ratio of
small to large remaining cards. Increasing your bet when there are more large cards and decreasing your bet when there are more small cards. After
a shuffle, return to a base level bet.
Note: Keeping track of the remaining Aces could increase your edge. If you notice that there is not a clear advantage or disadvantage in regards to the ratio of remaining small to large cards, increase your bet if there are more Aces than normal remaining and decrease your bet if there are fewer. Since the player is paid 3 to 2 for a blackjack, having more Aces remaining is an advantage for the player. Give this blackjack strategy a shot the next time you visit your favorite casino.
